HOW CAN I SEND MONEY TO MY COUNTRY?

If your country is not listed, let us know by contacting us and we will see if we can help. If your country is listed, simply choose to send money online or call any Imperial FX branch.

WHAT DOCUMENTS DO I NEED TO REGISTER AT IMPERIAL FX?

You will need to present a photo ID and proof of address. NOTE: ACCEPTABLE IDs; PHOTO ID: any of these: 1) Passport, 2) European ID with photo, 3) UK Driving Licence 4) For Tourist; Passport only. PROOF OF ADDRESS:any of these: 1) UK driving Licence, 2) Recent Bank statement, (no more than 3 months old) 3) Utility bill, (no more than 3 months old) 4) If the customer is Tourist then copy of his visa. (No Private company’s bills or letter I.e. Phone Bills are acceptable) For more detailed information, please refer to our LEGAL page

WHAT’S THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN BR MONEY AND IMPERIAL FX?

In 2015, BR Money was merged into Imperial FX , adding several years of expertise within the Brazilian community in the UK. It has enabled us to expand our global services making competitive and fast money transfers available in new regions under the highly trusted umbrella of Imperial FX.

IS IMPERIAL FX A REGULATED COMPANY?

Yes. Imperial Foreign Exchange is registered and regulated by FCA and HM Revenue & Customs for MLR (Money Laundering Regulations) and as we are registered we undertake CDD (Customer Due Diligence) and where appropriate EDD (Enhanced Due Diligence). This means we make sure that we do checks on the people that we are doing business with and we do risk assessment for the businesses that we conduct with and activities and we use a RBA (Risk Based Approach) to monitor our customer’s activity and report all suspicious activity to NCA (National Crime Agency). HOW LONG DOES A TRANSFER TAKE?

We have one of the shortest turnaround time for money transfer – your money gets to its destination quicker, often on the same day (depending on the destination country). We aim to process all transactions strictly following regulations, which can vary according to each destination country's standard security checks, different timezones and markets. If you are sending money on a Friday, weekends, or bank holidays, please note that we are unable process transactions when banks are closed.
